- Starting package at $13,950.00 for up to 150
- $14,950.00 for 150 -200 guests
- $15,950.00 for 200 250 guests
Booking & holding your date requires:
- A signed agreement and 20% deposit
- 30% will be due 6 months from your event date
- The remaining 50% will be due 30 days prior to your event
Policies
Contracting parties will provide Hubbell Homestead’s event coordinator with all event details (e.g. caterer, band/DJ, special lighting, and timing of event activities). These details will be reviewed for final approval by the Homestead’s event coordinator.
1768 Hubbell Homestead requires users of the facility to purchase an event liability insurance policy naming 1768 Hubbell Homestead, 1357 West Road, Bennington, VT 05201 as an additional insured. The policy shall be in the amount of, not less than, $1,000,000 per occurrence and must be provided to 1768 Hubbell Homestead 14 days in advance of the scheduled event date. This insurance may be obtained through WedSafe or an insurance agency of your choice.
Caterer must provide the Hubbell Homestead with a certificate evidencing that caterer has a current liability insurance policy and confirmation of a valid commercial caterer’s license.
Current Vermont alcohol license must be provided by bar service. No out-of-state bar services permitted per VT state law.
Catering and bar service must provide their own ice. All contracted services (Catering, Bar and Music) must end at the same time.
The Hubbell Homestead is not responsible for the loss of, or damage to, articles left on the premises at any time during your stay. This includes any property belonging to you, your guests or vendors.
Fees assessed by the Hubbell Homestead cover use of the Homestead’s Country Amenities Barn and Tent, adjacent property and parking. The client is responsible for the costs of food, beverages, linens, musicians, flowers, special services, additional tenting, service items etc.
DIY weddings will have an additional $1000 fee. Please speak with coordinator for details. Any specialty decor items such as votive candles, table numbers, seating cards, signs, etc. must be prepped, out of packages, and ready to be set.
An additional fee will be charged with a catering service that does not provide full service. Please discuss this further with Hubbell coordinator.
Any lighting must be provided by Encore Audio unless discussed otherwise. Absolutely no DIY lighting set-ups. Any specialty hanging decor must be professionally installed.
No rice, confetti or similar material may be thrown. Instead we suggest rose petals, dried flowers, or soap bubbles. Your cooperation in maintaining the dignity and cleanliness of the Homestead and grounds is greatly appreciated. Please ask any questions with regard to these guidelines.
Smoking is not permitted in any of the buildings on Hubbell Homestead property. Designated areas will be provided.
All personal items from event must be collected and removed on the following day after the event by 2pm, unless otherwise discussed.
Additional fees will be charged for any damages that may occur to buildings, tent and grounds caused during your event by you, your guests, agents and employees, as well as for any personal items left behind that require removal by Hubbell staff.
Three vendor meals will be required for event.
1768 Hubbell Homestead reserves the right to take and use photos of your event for promotional purposes.
Performance of this Agreement is subject to acts of God, disaster, government authority or other emergency any one of which may make performance impossible or illegal for the Homestead to provide the facilities/services for Client’s event. The Homestead shall not be responsible for power disruptions.
Contracting parties will receive 1 night accommodations for 2 barn guest suites.
Fees are subject to change without notice but not after a contract has been signed by Hubbell Homestead.
Use of Hubbell Homestead’s premises is from 8:00 AM till 10:00 PM.
